 The other Warande flat (called the "red flat" - I live in the "blue flat" (previously called the "low numbers" and "high numbers", according to the doornumbers) viewed from my balcony due west. In the hazy distance is the university and Utrecht. |
 The estate next to the "blue" flat and on the left the sanatorium, viewed south-east from either the kitchen balcony or the roof. Further to the right (due south - unseen here) is the youth prison. |
 Vollenhoven viewed from my balcony due north. Vollenhoven is a huge complex of flats, of which you can here only see the most westly bit. Under the bit you can see is the shopping centre where we do our basic shopping (supermarket, pizza place, drugstore, etc). In the foreground, btw, you can see a bit of the Warande "blue" flat (the flats are L-shaped) and behind the trees, at the bottom right of the picture is Billie, our snackbar. |
